Meet Lucas and Whitney.. really sweet folks we had the great honor of joining this July at the Dana-Powers House. We really loved spending time with this couple and had an amazing day to shoot this wedding. The Dana-Powers house was the perfect fit for them and had so much style to offer. Whitney actually works at Paper Sky here in San Luis Obispo and it looked like they both went to town on the decor giving it all a real classy look. It was sweet to see April Flowers kill it with her work as well.

We were thrilled to create this movie for them and it always blesses us to see them enjoy it the nigh of the wedding.

Jen and Brad are a couple of sweet folks from Portland, OR who met up that way. Their wedding was held at a private estate in Fresno, CA and coordinated by the sweet ladies at the Velvet Society. It was deathly hot working but we prevailed and got to show this movie for them at the end of the night. Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoy!

Switzerland must be like heaven. Green everywhere, perfect temperature, no bugs, all organic, and so full of life. The epic views of the Alps were surrounding us in this little mountain town called Gstaad. We could not have had a more beautiful setting to shoot our new friends Krystal and Andrew. This amazing couple fell in love in this town several years ago and decided to let the Swiss Alps host their incredible wedding. For our first shoot with them we took a ski lift up one of the surrounding mountains to hear more about their story and their love for each other. The views were inspiring and it was awesome getting to know them. On the wedding day they were married in an 800 year old church in the middle of town and from there we all headed up to a local farm to pet some animals and milk a goat. The usual. We spent the rest of the night at The Palace for an incredible dinner and party.

A few days later the photographer from the wedding, Raphael Fraux invited us over to his chalet for a bbq. We were incredibly blessed by his hospitality and the opportunity to get to know him and his wife.

This couple rocks and gave us a great time shooting up in the beautiful Napa Valley with them. The day was perfect and the couple was stunning. We loved all our time with them and I feel we would be friends if they didn’t live on the east coast. We were thrilled to join them and show this movie toward the end of their night. This movie also featured a new song from Drew Barefoot and will be out on his next album coming this fall!

Meet Brandon and Amy who we had the joy of joining last weekend. Their wedding had such a strong and real sense of family through out the whole day. It was amazing to see how these two families coming together had so much love and support for these two. We loved spending time with them and getting to know them through out the day. We got to show this at Vina Robles on their gigantic screen so that was kinda awesome.

We also got to work with my brother Samuel Potter on this one. It was sweet to tag team this one with Sam and I think you will love his work. His photos are bellow…

This is one of our favorite jobs yet.. We teamed up with Level Studios to shoot a commercial for our beloved city San Luis Obispo. This movie was created for a tourism campaign and website called Sincerely California. The site simply shows why this is the happiest place on earth and how to fully experience SLO. We shot for six days strait with our amazing actors Richard and Amber, taking them all over the central coast so that they could experience the epicness of this area.

Last weekend we had a sweet time creating a movie for Mike and Monica. This wedding was so full of diversity and culture. It was beautiful. There were Indian and Irish traditions through out the ceremony and reception giving this movie so much culture and personality. Not only was the wedding beautiful, but these folks where truly amazing people. It was sweet to see how these two where so complementing to each other. Their personalities where ones that brought out each other’s character.

On top of getting to work with an amazing couple, we got to share the shoot with our dear friend and inspiration Cameron Ingalls. Over the last few years we have become great friends with Cameron and have always learned so much from his passion for what he creates and his ability to bring out so much in couples. Here are a few of his pictures from the wedding…

This movie was created for these wonderful folks named David and Michelle. We joined them in the beautiful LA Arboretum. Shooting our couples in the beauty of nature is probably my favorite place to shoot other than underwater. The arboretum was such an inspiring place to capture this couple on their wedding day. After the ceremony we had a radical time eating Chinese food and showing this movie at the reception.

Overall such a sweet time. I hope you enjoy this movie.

Jenny and Rex got married at a private estate in Tulare, CA. They both had seen some of our work from a past wedding we did last year and they ended up getting us for theirs shortly after. We showed this movie at the end of the night for all the guests to enjoy. It seemed alot of folks had seen our previews before at weddings, so the pressure was on to keep it epic. It went over great.

A few weeks ago we ventured down to Mexico for another wonderful destination wedding. Cesar and Ann brought out their closest family and friends to celebrate with them in Sayulita, one of the most epic beach towns in Mexico. We were honored to join them at this amazing location. I even got to take out the housing to shoot a short surf trip just south of the town the morning of the wedding. So good to be in the water with the camera. There were endless beautiful places to shoot through out the area giving us so much to work with through out editing of this movie.

We loved getting to know these folks and we felt so much love from Cesar and Ann. Not only did they make our job so fun, but they really treated us like family throughout our time with them. We love these people and are blessed to show off their movie.
